There is no way to tell, because we have no way of knowing how seriously the FM was taking it. I assume this was online. This is one reason among many why OTB tournaments are far superior when judging strength compared to online. He could have been experimenting with the Hippo that day, or he could have been playing e4 instead of his normal d4, or he could have been doing a challenge like trying to mate only on one square. I have seen all kinds of nonsense pulled by titled players online to spice it up.
What roughly strength is some one, when they win 50% against a FM ?
you people are sick, effed up man
I agree , at least you took a guess without much bla bla bla
LOL so stupid, this has a very simple question. You win 50%, he wins 50% then you are at his level.
You would be. But the OP does not specify.
If a FM (Elo between 2300 and 2400 - above 2400 would be IM) manages to draw 10 games with you, but loses 10, and does not win any, what is your Elo? What is the title you deserve?
Conditions:
3mins blitz time control
total games have been played 20
1st player untitled, second player FM
Roughly what strength would a person be if he wins 50% out of this 20 games?
