What should I say my rating is?

Pretty simple, I'm 1600 rapid, 1400 blitz, and 1370 bullet, so if someone asks what my rating is, what should I say? Do I just take the average of all my ratings, or do I just list all my ratings individually? Ok, maybe I'm overthinking this a little, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Your daily rating is 1361 . . .

All those others don't count . . .

In a way they are all good. However I believe your highest rating is the 1 that is the most important. So just fly with that! wink.png

Hi,

If someone asks me what my rating is offline (otherwise they could just look on my profile?), I tell them what my OTB rating is and say my online ratings (between Chess.com and Lichess.org) are around 2k depending on time format. If I were you I’d say between 1400-1600 depending on time format.

Daily rating. It represents real chess more than the others. Unless your play 30min+ rapid games constantly. Even then it’s not the same as a classical game.

I add up the ratings for the last seven rapid 30-min matches and divide by 7 to obtain the average of ratings. Ratings go up and down, so stating your current single-game rating does not truly reflect your skill level, whereas an average gives a more accurate picture of it. You can calculate your average for any type of chess match the same way. (obtw, my rapid 30-min rating average is 831.571429 so you know I have a long way to go, learning the game)
