People learn at different speeds. But 1300 players are almost certainly not cheating...
What to do when you think someone is cheating?

A father or friend could have been helping her. That's not the kind of cheating chess.com is interested in. I think everybody starts with a rating of 1200 because that's the AVERAGE. BTW; who won??

It might be that shes not telling the whole story. Maybe she is new on chess.com, but has some experience at home.

I think I know who you're talking about (checked your game log, found the "1300 tactical beast.")
Go look at the 11 games. There is nothing even remotely suspicious about any of them.

No, Djonni; she had no experience at home, because she just learned it.
It's impossible to win all games you played when u are a beginner (in my opinion, or am i wrong?)
@ Ronald: She won by resigning from me; i didn't want to play further. She had a fork with my rook and king. WTF? with a couple of days experience????

Maybe "she" isn't even a she. Perhaps this person has been playing far longer than she/he is letting on? As long as this person isn't using a computer to choose moves there isn't much you can do about that.... and if they were using a comp they likely would have a higher rating than 1340.

Clunney; did she play a bunch of people with ratings under 500??
They were all sub 1000, and played ridiculous stuff like 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 f6?.

There's no way a person who has only been playing for a couple of days could be rated 1300 legitimately.

Well its not an official USCF rating, its a computer rating. You start with 1200; beginners luck, you win your 1st 2 games. But not 11 straight. Clunney was refering to people rated above 1600 and use an engine.

With thought put into their moves, and the analysis board I don't see why not.

I agree with clunney. It is not a sensation to outplay under 1000 players. No engine is needed for that.

Why?

O.k. so maybe i'm wrong?
Anyway: i don't like to play with that person anymore.....
Thanks to you all for your reactions!

Why?
Because you simply could not reach that level in two days from "scratch".
I just wonder what to do, where to go, when you think someone is cheating? I 'm playing with someone who SAYS she only plays for a couple of days...she just learned it and has already a rating of 1340??????
In my opinion that's not possible.
I'm playing for more than 5 months now and i'm still on a rating of 780.
