So I vote queen.
the pawn..even though I really don't know how to use them...they have the most promise and potential. Seems like many of those high level games are decided on who has the extra pawn.

Ditto.
Everyone knows Philador said, "Pawns are the soul of chess."
And in shogi literature there is a book titled "It All Starts with a Pawn".
And about xiangqi, Sam Sloan wrote: "Without pawns it is generally impossible to win."
I'll take their word for it.

The 4 bishops would win in that situation, but only because bishops work well together and not because of innate superiority.
Rooks. One reason is that a rook is the only piece(other than a queen) that can get checkmate with the only assistance coming from a king. It is impossible for a knight, bishop or pawn
I like the bishops. They are sneaky.
Funny that I don't see bishops as sneaky at all. In fact, in an endgame if my opponent has only one minor piece...I'd prefer it be a bishop to a knight. Knights freak me out with their potential forking two moves later if you don't keep careful watch.
My faviorite piece is the rook
