when playing someone with a suspicious accuracy ratio from their daily vs blitz/rapid

so I'm wondering if this ever happens to anyone else because I've encountered it several times over my chess.com career... I match up with a player in a daily match, I immediately look at their profile and make sure their ratings make sense to the quality of player I believe I'm about to play, if it doesn't then I abort. I really enjoy the games where both players are making a move within a few minutes of each other and it feels like an otb match, but sometimes in those games I notice my opponent makes a move 30 to 45 seconds right after mine, no matter how complicated the position is. their moves seem to be extremely powerful and I suddenly realize I'm about to go down in material and then I'm in a lost game. after the game I analyze the accuracy and see they played like 92% over 40 moves (yes it happens and I don't think they are cheating) so I'm like damn, let me try a rematch. same thing we play a few moves in the opening, they respond within 30 seconds or so and then maybe a few hours go by and we play a middle game where they play 10 moves all within that quick reaction time. shit, I'm in a lost position again and their attack or defense is just too good for me, I'm lost and evaluate the game again, same thing 89 to 90% accuracy over 40 moves. maybe we play one more game or whatever, but I see they are very low at blitz (they are always much lower at blitz in these types of players I'm making this post about) and I am a strong blitz player compared to my daily. my daily is 1390 and my blitz is usually a mid 1200. they accept the blitz challenge and we play, I destroy them and the whole game they seem to leave pieces hanging for free or just have no idea how to counter my moves in any way like they were in the daily games. I'm shocked that all of a sudden we are in a blitz game and they don't seem to have these superpowers like they just did. yes, I do realize that some people are not as strong or think as fast as they do in a daily, but they were moving pretty quick in our daily. also no I'm not jumping to cheating, but I just don't understand when I face these types of accounts and it seems to happen often enough to warrant a post. anyone else feel or experience anything like this?

People can use reference materials when playing daily.  Many do use them.

The use of database materials and books is completely legal in daily chess.

It really makes a difference in the type of game you get.

Yeah I am aware that the analyze tool is there, where you can move pieces around like a GM does in their mind. I personally try not to use that tool and I understand that's my choice and that alone is probably a huge factor in what I'm feeling. I didn't know about the database materials though that you speak of. I didn't know that was an option in daily chess.

Yes the opening database is there for use in Daily games and unfortunately some people do use it. What it amounts to is you're not playing them until the game is completely a new position. They are picking moves out of a list until either you make a mistake or it's a completely new game.

Where it causes problems is if you are actually playing the game instead of picking moves from the list, you will end up in a worse position no matter what. That doesn't mean you can't work your way out of it once the game deviates from the database, but it does mean no matter how well you play your opening or how much you studied it, the best you can do is an even position against those people.

It seems to be more common now. Either because my rating has increased some or because more people are playing that way. It's pretty much ruining Daily chess for me, and that's pretty much been all I've been playing.

Oh wow, I had no idea about this database! I can't believe the app would allow this, but I feel more sane knowing this could be an option my opponents are using.

I don't know how prevalent it is. Maybe it's just a matter of everybody being on chessable and learning opening Theory. I study the common openings and play those so it would make sense other folks study the same stuff. I'm sure if somebody chooses an opening that I study they feel the same way about me. It's just that having that database available to people fuels the paranoia. I know if it comes to a choice between picking moves from a list or losing, I'm going to lose.

Waste of time looking at players profiles, there is some players with high blitz who play like garbage in daily and vice versa and complaining about databases is ridiculous when it's allowed.
