Which free chess database?

Jose hasn't been updated since 2006, and ChessDB since 2007. I think ChessX may still be under development although I haven't checked lately.
I would like to use a free chess database but there are so many of them:
1) JOSE
2) SCID
3) ChessDB
4) ChessX
Which one still has a continued development? There are 3 important things I would like to obtain from the database like the stats for each position, auto annotate my games and searching for a particular theme.
