Here's the crazy thing - I never played d4 in my life

brutafire

12

13

15

25

Also dont forget to prepare rare openings like trompowsky so that there is a hight chance of opponent falling into traps

SamyaChakrabarti

Bruh, openings don't matter.

But since you asked for it, Sicillian is a great thing to try as it leads to some wonderful and brilliant positions which give fun while playing.

But first you need to know about it in detail

IJANKivnjs

Bruh, you want us to give the best options but keep rejecting them by considering them too difficult =) You must go for the challenging tactics in order to reach a higher ground.

M1m1c15
E4 and then e5 and e6 then e7 and then e8 and then boom you’re up a queen

Ok guys just according to your opinion write like this for instance - 1

1. No

2. No

3. Yes

I saw some stats the other day about Queen's Gambit as white that make me want to get back to playing it sooner rather than later. I didn't have much success with it when I restarted chess, lower rated players always decline the gambit, but even very high rated players don't fare well accepting it. It's quite the rabbit hole theory wise, but one worth disappearing down, perhaps. wp.png

Ya this guy absolutely right there is no "best " opening cuz of there was everybody would play it it's just our opinions

That's true. Every openings exist for different reasons. However, I changed my word to "options" because it seems more general.

So all I gotta do is have a look at all openings and decide which is the best for me?

That's also true. As I said, all of our recommendations are based on our perspectives. You should not find the "best" options, instead, you should look for the "most suitable" ones.

IJANKivnjs

Yea, and also go for new things. Maybe you can find more suitable openings than the options you are considering right now, according to the guys above =)

RaufUsSabid7

Also of all the above which is the most disgusting

SamyaChakrabarti

bird's opening

UItron

For me, as the 1500 elo player, I can say the French Defense is good for 1500 - 1600 elo because we are in the advanced, no more sacrifice queen to pawn anymore (I mean stupid blunder), so I think 1500 - 1600 elo player should play closed opening to adapt the complex chess position.

My opinion*

RaufUsSabid7

Ok thx everyone. Still any tips?

RaufUsSabid7

Yep

Eru_Ilivitar

Sicilian defense, aggressive players mostly use that, and I use that too

ricorat

What do you play currently? If you're enjoying the middlegames you're getting and are having decent success in them there's no need to change, however if you're not enjoying them then change might be good.
