I'm just a beginner so maybe I'm missing something but I solved the puzzle and as far as I can see Black isn't even in check?
White has one a queen and a pawn for a rook and a minor piece.

White has won the Black Queen and is attacking the rook and the knight and will wind up with a large material advantage!
Ah ok, I assumed since the title of the puzzle was white to move and WIN that the puzzle would end in a win. It was a good puzzle, I wish I could see that far ahead in a game, it took me a cpl tries to get it!
I wish I see this kind of thing OTB. I'm not quite there yet. I was doing some puzzles last night and came across this one. I think its a great Removing the Guard type example. With the Queens nose to nose like that, it wasn't obvious to me to try and grab the pawn behind the Queen with check.
I was looking for a quick mate w/R,N,Bs but couldn't find one. It's clear in the end position W has a massive advantage with more material to come. Nice problem(puzzle)!
great puzzle i got it and i am learning to get better at those sort of things but it is soo hard.LOL.
Fairly easy but very nice puzzle. Once you know that the only support to the queen is the pawn. Take the pawn and Queen is yours...
