Well, if a mod or staff felt that the post was against forum rules, they would have deleted it. I find it interesting that several folks asked you what the forum was about, and yet you haven't responded. It makes me think that maybe you knew it was against the rules, and are just trying to find the specific mod who enforced the rules on you.

 You are about that  furtiveking

about what?

electricpawn

I took down your post. Yeah, that's right! What are you going to do about it? Nothing, that's what.

about what?

I've highlighted for you and what I said earlier in post#14 I said this to the OP.

"you should know really, last time you post a thread in the general chess discuss. it was pointless, meaningless and non chess related."

Perhaps if you tell it you love it and buy it flowers it'll come back

ChessMarkstheSpot

I can go for a milkshake right now with some fries. Sounds like a plan to me

ChessMarkstheSpot

"Don't know what you got...till it's gone."

dazbedford
I want it back
ChessMarkstheSpot

then go to the help and support page link at the bottom of the page and click on it. Ask them, do it nicely, and maybe they will let you know why it was deleted. Maybe you put something in the topic that they didn't like

rooperi

It was Colonel Mustard, in the consevatory, with bagpipes.

ChessMarkstheSpot

LOL...that's an interesting image, definitely unique Smile

rednblack

oh, those bagpiping colonels.  I knew I didn't like the looks of him.

dazbedford

I never thought it might be colonel mustard, is he chess.com staff now?

rednblack

officially, no.  It is chess.com's policy to neither confirm nor deny the existence or identity of any operatives who may or may not be in the field and who may or may not use, utilize, employ, operate, wield, exercise, or handle any bagpipes or partake in any bagpipery.

dazbedford

i see so we will never know however you seem to know a lot perhaps you could get on the inside

ChessMarkstheSpot

Unless you get a response from Support, no, you will probably never know why it was deleted

I think that the ? that was "replaced" with a / was just a typo.     ?=Shift+/, so it's not a hard mistake to make. As for your forum topic, I have no idea. I suggest look harder. Unless, of course, it wasn't popular, and you can't find it because it is deep in the sands of forgotten forum topics.

gorgeous_vulture

Was it a particularly valuable topic ?

ilikeflags

i wish i had deleted it so i could say i did.  the suspense is killing me.
