Who is the greatest blitz/speed chess player of all time?

In the quater final match of the gm blitz battle, GM Magnus Carlsen beat GM Tigran Petrosian 21-4 !! He won the 5|3 segment with 6-2 and the 3|2 portion with 7-1 with one loss and six straight wins! And won the bullet segment with 8-1. Again , one loss by Carlsen followed by 8 straight wins!!! He is probably the best player alive , in all time controls.

Here are some parts of the wonderful report by NM Samcopeland- ..
"In a performance that silenced all doubters (if any existed), Magnus Carlsen scored a mountain of unanswered points to win his quarterfinal Blitz Battle match against Tigran Petrosian 21 to 4.
Lest players think that Petrosian was not a competitive challenger, we should remind readers that Petrosian did top a long list of elite challengers including Wesley So,Ian Nepomniachtchi, Dmitry Andreikin, Georg Meier, and Baadur Jobava in the Blitz Battle Qualifier to earn the right to play Carlsen. Petrosian is also ranked 22nd in the world according to FIDE's blitz ratings.
Despite these credentials, Carlsen was in a completely different class. Petrosian acquired some strong opening positions, outplayed Carlsen in some middlegames, and landed a few pleasing tactics. However, Carlsen's relentlessly accurate and resourceful play turned game after game in his favor."

"Rating: Thanks to an impressive bullet performance, Carlsen recorded the new peak rating on site at 3275. That's provisional, but it was enough to have Nakamura salivating at the thought of a worthy foe with a nice supply of rating points.
Accuracy: Our automated cheat detection systems credited Carlsen with one of the highest accuracy rates ever recorded by a confirmed human account on the site."
"Fischer was the best cause he did not specialize in blitz, still he won a tournement in 1971? with a 4 points margin- Tal was second, I believe"
No one specialized in blitz in those days, and while that was a great result, it was also the only strong blitz event he played. Ranking him as the greatest ever based on one single tournament where the World Champion was absent is generous.

A 4 points margin is very great and although I tend to agree with you , still it was a fantastic performance by Fischer, especially since he didn't specialize in blitz.

karpov had been beaten by my country's best chess player utut ardianto two times including at blitz game

Yesterday we witnessed one of the most anticipated events in the history of online chess, the final of the Chess.com Grandmaster Master Blitz Battle.

Two of the greatest players of the modern chess era ( But I do believe Carlsen could be considered one of the greatest of all time) , GM Magnus Carlsen and GM Hikaru Nakamura played 3 hours of speed chess to prove who is the true blitz king! Carlsen won the match by a score of 14.5 against Nakamura's 10.5. The match was very tight, but Carlsen dominated the blitz portion which pretty much determined the result.
Though I was rooting for Carlsen , I was in awe of the level of mastery and speed exhibited by both players.
This event further cements Carlsen's reputation as the greatest Chess player alive. And also , I really respect Nakamura's chess skills. He's one of the very few who could put up a good fight against Carlsen in speed chess.
I also felt that Nakamura's bullet skills are far greater than his blitz skills, wheras Carlsen is extremely, I mean ridiculously good at all time formats.
What do you guys think?

I was also wondering, are there any great female players who are especially good at speed/blitz chess? Was Judit Polgar very good at blitz?
Karpov was by far the best blitz player ever. He would easily crush weaker players like Kasparov, Fischer and Karlsson.
Karpov's highest blitz rating is 2644. Carlsen beat him in Blitz at age 13.
