Yeah... see what i'm talking about? pfren is his handle and IM is his title.
I wonder if he prefers to call him "IM pfren" than plain "pfren". I hope he doesn't take offense with the plain version.
I have to go with Kohai. IM Pfren gets second place. Then comes Snakes (or Bowerick) because he made a contest that gave me a premium membership.

As far as I know the people here - Pfren.
IM pfren amazes me not only with the depth of his knowledge of openings, which I might expect of an IM, but also the breadth of it and his familiarity with nearly every new book and DVD, and his willingness to share his expertise and frank opinions.
batgirl does a marvelous job as curator-in-fact, preserving and expanding chess history. If you do not read her postings, you are missing an essential part of the game, for what we play and love today is the product of all those who came before.
And thanks to those who've mentioned me, I am humbled but glad to have been able to contribute in some way. I should also apologize if I've expressed any opinions inelegantly along the way, please consider those the products of stressful days with too few beers.

When it comes to sharing chess knowledge on the forums my vote goes to pfren.
And I think Daniel Rensch deserves a medal for his outstanding videos, very informative and entertaining.
But the others mentioned so far are certainly highly appreciated too!

He already has a lot of votes...folk realise his bark is worse than his bite. 
Yeah, I like pfren. He spends a lot of time helping people with their games. Periodic gruffness doesn't bother me. His efforts are much appreciated.
