V3 feels like a bad video game.
In V2, under live chess, you could watch games being played AND V2 GAVE YOU AN ONGOING RECORD OF THE "MATERIAL SCORE" -- i.e. HOW MANY POINTS (Q=9, B=3, P=1, ETC.) DURING THE GAME THAT EACH PLAYER HAD LOST.
I cannot find this feature in V3. Is it no longer available?? [Bummer.]
When you watch two IMs play Game in 3/0, you really need this information to "evaluate" the game in your own mind.
But perhaps I am mistaken.
Sure hope this information is available in V3, but I just wasted 20 minutes looking around for it in V3. So...back to V2 to play or WATCH.
What a pain in the arse, is V3.
Honestly, the things you guys come up with as deal-breaking are pretty amusing. Gosh, you can't tell who is winning an IM or GM game without the material count?
I can see the count as a nice to have. But every day, one or another single factor is enough to cause several of you to go postal.
That has to be somewhat offset by:
You would think that millions of people are made somewhat less miserable by being able to play here.
But you would almost never know it from the forums.

I use V3 for game archive, live chess and ChessTV (because it's not possible in V2 anymore).
V2 for everything else. Why? Forums are just nicer, more compact in a way. Other things... it's easier for me to find - won't go to v3 until forced, haha.

The amount one player is ahead is shown. However, depending on your background, you may not be able to see it.
Here is one from the first game in the watch list:
