I do, and once its gone, im gone. But thats just me.
Old Chess.com version!

I also use the old version. There are more possibilities for personal design. Moreover, it is more suitable for working in the groups!

I use the old version . I am not comfortable with the new one . May be I have to learn how to use it .
But if the old version is stopped I will quit chess.com

V2 has simplicity and is easy to navigate!...Once the mess of V3 becomes mandatory I will quit chess as well...

Maybe your used to V2 (and like many other chess.com users), thats why you say it has simplicity and is easy to navigate, but for a new person to chess.com or for a graphic designer, V3 has more simplicity, neatness and is easier to navigate.

I agree with playing over 2000 games over 7 years on V2 it has become habit forming for me...I saw no problems with the old version...Why change?..The complete makeover was unnessary in my opinion...

Maybe its unnecessary for you, and your not wrong (even tho maybe you can get used to V3, and see how better it is, but you can do whatever you fell more convenient for you, ofcourse). But for other people its much better, for example, people that are better at computers can appreciate how easy and neat V3 is. I think, in general, that if someone makes an account in V3 , he will be more likely to start using the site or using it with more frequently than if someone makes an account in V2, then he will take more time to get involved with the site, since ,technologically speaking, V2 is more complicated to use than V3. Maybe thats one of the things that chess.com could gain with V3, that new people get into the site and start appreciating it faster, generally speaking.

Thanks for the impressions of the versions V2 and V3.
I understand code gets old, but to overhaul things so it looks better?
NASA has used the same software from Apllo, through the space shuttle. Why? Because it works. Change for the sake of change isnt change for the better.

that would be highly objectable on how other people prefers V3 considering it is the default site for the thousands of new members every day who do not use the option to go into the old site to compare and see how good V2 really is...V2 is far superior than the other chess sites over the internet with understanding the simple joy of playing the game...I understand that some would view V3 is just as good...What I dont understand is a complete makeover on a product that has been successfull for years for Erick and his staff...There would be not so much controversy if the option clause to go back into the old site would continue indefinately...
How many members still use the old Chess.com version. And what are the reasons for this?
