why can you only make 8 premoves?

Who decided that 8 premoves was the perfect ammount of premoves?  i think this is stupid.  you should be able to make 11.

Open up another account, play yourself, and it will seem like 16 pre-moves.

I do good to make 1 pre-move ... if I make more than that I lose really badly. Pre-moves should be limited to players over 2200 chess.com rating points. Hard to pre-move on a chess idiot like myself and make it work unless you know some them pandolfini zaps and traps

After beating a 1850 bullet player (I wonder why he only plays unrated lol) 14-0, I managed to make the 8 premoves in a game with my mouse! I counted exactly 8 and I couldn't make the 9th one, so that settles it.
