Hey Lola,

Can I apologize? In all seriousness, without you and people like you, this world would be boring and colorless and I've given you a hard time for no reason other my own bitterness.

No more grief from me.

Castling is the exception to moving two pieces at once, to the king not moving more than one square, and to these two jumping over. You're right about "uncastling" being a totally separate move, which is why there's no reason it shouldn't fall under these rules. So if you want to uncastle, you do it the old-fashioned way.

The funny thing is that it does not matter what I or anybody else on this thread says, Ghostess will never agree.

I got fifty bucks says it's a dude who is absolutely LOVING all the attention.

Ding ding ding.  Gender is irrelevant here, but certainly trolling for attention since day 1.

you can actually uncastle, just not in one move

....and btickler ?....u always have been insignificant.

Interesting discussion. I've read none of it. But I have read the title. I have found that you can't uncastle on chess.com. Perhaps this thread is to address the software bug in chess.com's system? It is definitely unsettling to not be able to uncastle on the site, I use the strategy in my OTB games all the time.

Too bad, 'cuz u should.

Funny that it's the only piece move that can't be reversed (obvious to self: capture & promotion morphing) yet FIDE is somewhat ambiguous of text splash per 3.8a.

I just wish they could be as clear as btickler is worthless regarding their explanation.

Still ignoring the fact that after castling if you jump your king over your rook it's an illegal move?

Keep pretending you have a valid argument though...

The_Ghostess_Lola

U still don't see my argument D-A. do you....still can't follow. Well, I'm gonna give up dealing w/ u once & for all.

One last thing. What does D-A stand for again ?

BTW, what does D-A stand for again ?

Your argument is not valid. The process of uncastling is illegal. No need to have it written in the rules. What's funny is that you're the one who doesn't follow.

Still want to jump your king over your rook do ya??
