Why development is important before attacking

Many times there can be attacks before development is completed with opening traps, or opening blunders by your opponent.  However, it is best practice to try and develop your entire army in the most efficient amount of moves.

Here is an example (1 min game).  Where my opponent started an attack but kept his king in the center and two of his pieces undeveloped.

When you see this and your pieces are all developed look for opportunities to sacrifice material to keep his king in the center of the board and opportunities to keep those undeveloped pieces out of the game.

Excellent theory display plus an amazing discipline in your attack. Most players, including me, wouldnt resist to take the rook with the bishop losing time..

I haven't analysed the game deeply to see if the attack was executed in the best way, but I'm pretty sure I never lost the advantage.  Thank you for your comment SF
