Is it me or is sacrificing a piece or getting a brilliant move in chess.com feels so good, like checking that analysis and seeing that bright, cyan, double exclamation mark appear as 1 just feels so satisfying.

It does!! Probably because it's difficult to get. Plus, it's exciting to sacrifice in chess!!

Brilliant moves feels like getting tipped for a job well done. The fun part of brilliant moves is you've got to complete the sequence following or it sort of becomes a brilliant miss.

I can’t answer that on this forum.

They do! Wait til you play a brilliant move a game.

Because do you probably calculate the bid before making the brilliant move, which creates the feeling that the person fell into your trap, plus the cyan blue color is quite beautiful and the exclamation points give it a certain charm? Idk, lol :p

probably because of the appearance of the mark, the color is 38, 194, 163 and the brilliant mark matches it. Bright colors boost the energy levels of the brain and releases dopamine (for motivation) and serotonin (for happiness because you really thought about the move and calling it brilliant means you did absolutely well!). correct me if im wrong.

I know' I played them in like two games in one day (I’m low rated) and I felt so accomplished
