I haven't been to tournaments lately due to Covid-19 but recently I have been playing chess with my mom on my prized chess board. I have noticed that I make many blunders, miss many tactics etc. I'm 90% sure though that these mistakes would never happen online. Does anyone know why this happens and how I can prevent it?

I blunder on purpose when playing my parents.....

Whatever format you are used to playing, you will play better.  The only cure is practice.

I won my state's Senior Championship (online) two years in a row even though I am far from the strongest senior in my state, because I was used to playing online and my opponents mostly were not.  It makes a big difference--I'd estimate about 100 rating points.  You have the same problem in reverse....

Also, make sure the lighting is good, the board is big enough for the pieces, and the pieces are clear (no guessing which one is the K and which is the Q!)  There's a reason serious tournament players are super picky about their equipment and lighting.  We had the US Blind Champion (who is not totally blind but visually impaired) in one of our tournaments and she could just manage if we put a bright light over the board.  (She then crushed me at blitz.  She's pretty amazing!)
