well if your uncle has his own separate chess.com account and gave it to you from there you should be fine, if he paid for it by buying it on your profile then it will renew

If you use the diamond part of your account AFTER it expires, agents from Homeland Security will be raiding your house.
you have to go into memberships settings and cancel it, otherwise it renews the subscription automatically and charges your account
