It's easier for people to feel badly about someone who beat them than to take responsibility for the defeat that they earned through their bad moves.
Why do people call me an idiot when I win on time?

I sometimes play slightly weird moves to confuse opponents and make them waste time in blitz. Is this fine?
Every move that is legal by the rules can be played. Your opponent gets no say in the decision what moves you can or cannot play.
So yes, perfectly fine.
As for why players might insult you, they're probably just sore losers being angry.
If you feel exaggerated annoyance or concern that someone calls you an idiot, that only serves to prove the person right. Winning on time is as legit a way to win as any other.

I just beat a guy 4 times in a row....and he says I am weak and play like a girl....
I thought chess was a game for gentleman (and girls), a game of kings.

Maybe he's right. If so what does that say about him?
Don't sweat it dude, he insulted himself worse than he insulted you with that remark.

In my experience, nothing invites more insults than claiming a draw by repetition. Don't know why exactly...

People are jerks.
Especially on the Internet, where they can say that sort of crap without risking a slap on the side of the head.

You should have just told him that it must really suck being beaten four times in a row by someone who plays like a girl!

I always say good game...and they say bad stuff like "idiot" or you suck or bad words.
I feel that time is part of the game, maybe I'm wrong.
