Why do so many "fish" comment on serious chess posts?
I know what you're thinking - I've hung material and missed basic tactics too, but at least I've beaten an FM before:

You have a completely lost position though, and your opponent timed out on a 3 day per move game.
I understand that you're jealous I beat an FM, but please allow me to enjoy my victory.
I'd be legitimately jealous of your skills if you beat an FM by outplaying him. Although I'd consider it more respect/admiration than jealousy.
I'm puzzled about you bragging about winning on time though. Basically you're saying that you can't win against FMs unless your opponent leaves the game. It's a bit odd that you brag about it, because your "best" game being a win by default sounds more of an insult than a compliment to me.

The truth is that I've beaten one FM legitimately by position in a daily game, although he resigned when he dropped a pawn for no compensation on move 10.
I've beaten plenty of titleds on speed chess, and am currently playing about a dozen in daily chess.

Dude, correspondence chess results mean absolutely, positively nothing. Play real chess.

Given that the vast plurality of cheaters here are rapid and 10 minute blitz players (bullet is the only safe zone really), are you sure you're not confusing online with otb? In that case, I'm afraid you've said nothing new or worthwhile. If not, well you're simply wrong.

I mean, I play all variants of chess actually -slow, rapid, daily, blitz/bullet/hyperbullet, variants, otb/online, so not sure what you're referring to.
I spend much less time per game on my 500 daily games than I would in a 15 min rapid game, or probably a 10 minute game.
Daily chess is actually very helpful for your improvement, though. For one thing, you quickly learn what positions you're weak at, and learn to spot critical moments in chess.
And your argument that the opponents don't care can be extended to anything in online chess, and life as well. It says nothing about daily chess.
Correspondence games aren't soft; they're the most difficult precisely because of the long time control. They result in higher quality games than the other variants for the same reason; you have time to think deeply into the position.
People who say that correspondence gives you too much time to think are people who should look for more things to think about.
Of course, I understand. I've also beaten FMs in speed chess - I hope that makes you less jealous when I put it like that.
However, since I'm nice, here is my secret to beating FMs - you could have just asked, you know.

Read it carefully, and show me your wins vs. FMs!
