Yeah, I have. Just because something is open source, doesn't make its implementation and maintenance free.
Well, social_climber, I suggest you put your money where your mouth is and show us how it's being done:
Chess.com members (both free and premium) get free tournaments at your home and a free membership in your household.
Sounds fair, right ?
Why do USAF and FIDE charge fees for tournaments and memberships? Chess should be free. When I was playing chess in prison and the military, I payed nothing.
