I like chess because it is logical 'super-puzzle' that allow you to challenge another person's way of thinking.
Why do we love chess?

Well, whenever I get deep into the game, while calculating my mind seems to get into a nice, relaxed flow, even though other people may have expected me to get a headache. That feeling is one of the reasons I play chess. I also like it because it is challenging and improves the brain.

I like it because it's never the same twice. Ok, sometimes it is, but you know what I mean. It also keeps my brain from melting.
Feldmm1 I agree. My mind is super relaxed when playing even though staring at the same game gives my wife a headache. On top of that I find it's a great way to exercise the brain and hone problem solving skills.
It's fun smashing people. That's all I can say.
