Its a fun way to use your brain.
I can win trophies and it's good for your mind
Primarily, it is good brain excercise for we old people. I like a challenge, and competition. You can get a game just about any time convenient to the induvidual. You meet so many broken people on Chess sites, without the fear of coming face to face with them. It's fun.
I don't like chess but I'm addicted.
So I can beat JC816 and then begin laughing when I refuse his rematch request.
It's fun I guess...
I just love chess. That's it.
I like getting a good start and building up to a complicated game with many available choices.
I hate dull games, so I always just try to put as many pieces forward as soon as possible.

Thats not complicating things, that placing your pieces on active squares.
I like it but I cannot tell you why. Half the time chess drives me crazy. Lol
I also think it's a fun way to use the brain. It's a game, just a little bit more complicated than the others.

I love chess , because there's a perfect balanced mixture of tactics and strategy involved, which is perfect cappuccino to me.
Been trying to figure that out myself....
At my age it keeps dementia at bay.
I LOVE chess because... Well pretty much everything about it. It keeps the gears in my brain moving since everyone has there own chess style. Also, it's a game with no luck. So you know that you won because of your hard work. 😀
Right now I hate chess. Just spent over 2 hours on a game just to blow a drawn endgame. Way to go retard!
