What do you want? To win after your connection gets lost? One of the requirements to play game of chess online is to be connected on the internet, easy as that.

If you could just get a draw or win if you were to disconnect, people would do it on purpose. The site doesn’t know why you disconnect, so their only choice is to make you responsible for your own connection. It stinks, but it really is the only option.
