Cheating is a drug. If you want to keep winning you have to increase your cheating every game.
So I don’t really care.
A very simple reason:
you don't see what the other player actually has open in his or her other tabs.
People can easily cheat by using another tab and let the engine calculate the best moves for them.
The best example for you to test this is playing a normal game with a guest account. People will start playing fast clumsy, then take minutes, and suddenly only play really good moves. Like yeah, I know you just used the engine in another tab.
This seems to be a common occurence on chess.com and similar sites, especially when there is ranking/ELO involved.
Only board chess is real chess, because you (and other people) can keep an eye on your opponent.
