Why I lost 3 achievements!?

Hi,everyone!

I'm just asking if the same happened to you.I had 111 achievements,now I have 108.

Yes, chess.com has removed the achievements.

There have been a number of achievements removed.

Some that were broken and the KotH related ones as well..

From the support tool:

We have indeed removed several achievements that were not unlocking automatically when the task was completed. In many cases, the task could not be completed in the current state of the website.

The achievements that have been removed are the following:

3D Glasses

Man vs. Machine

Second Opinion

Hindsight 20/20

Statistician

Buddy System

Social Butterfly

Dangerous Intersection

Those achievements do not exist anymore.

But why?

I have lost two achievements from three check Chess variant

Read the whole message buddy it says they were not unlocking

I know.But for a person that those achievements were unlocked,why should this person LOSE THEM?

Maybe chess.com doesnt have enough time to send everyone a message

Yes, I had noticed this a few weeks ago... Lost one or two achievements, here and there, week after week... I figured it had sag to do with the site so it's ok, just too bad there was no communication (that I know of), but on the other hand, how to communicate on this?..

I hope they'll put them back, or create new ones :-)

They could probably push a mail to all users... But probably have more important/ urgent matters to attend...

Yes I want new achievements (but they probably won't because then the first person who got all of them might not be the first anymore)

They could also get rid of chatterbox, which -IMO- causes too many people to just spam nonsense, or even just one letter...
