Why is chess.com so laggy?

Story of my Indian internet along with this useless server. I lose majority of my games due to the chess.com server randomly deciding to make me lose 0.4 seconds per premove. If I didn't have to put up with this, I would be in the top #10 on this fkn website.

Its too laggy, unbelievable i have full signal WIFI6 like 250 mbps and still lose on time!

Chess.com suddenly became laggy recently, it's not because of my Wi-Fi or tabs, but could be extensions. Sometimes the website just freezes for like half a second, when I am playing in short time controls . This is annoying and makes me lose on time. Also, there are more disconnections from my opponents too, so I probably isn't my problem. I am in Singapore, if that helps.

The recent experience for me is a complete disaster. There were issues here and there, but the last couple of weeks are terrible. It no longer depends on which browser I use, I literally see pieces dragged with delay and sometimes it's impossible to see the fast moves of the opponent. I really hope this gets fixed as it is unusable for me in bullet games at this point.

Same here. There were huge problems in the past, so I stopped playing Bullet. Then it was fixed. BUT: I lost 400 rating points in the last 2 days just because of this lag problem. It's Bullet and yes, my moves are played almost instantly, but it doesn't seem to work. Then I even tested 10 premoves in a row, guess what happened! They took 30 seconds. I couldn't believe my eyes. My connection was stable. As a paid user I can't accept this. There should be an explanation from chess.com

All I play is bullet 1/0. Once my legal move is not accepted I know I am in a lag time losing game.

The only thing I can say when that happens is play faster.

Maybe it's your connection. I have no lag ever.

yeah it's both connection and computer.My connection is normal,but my computer is 240 hertz,so i lose something like 0.05 seconds,very efficient here.
