Why is queen side castling frowned upon?

I typically get the impression that queen side casling is avoided in favour to king side castling, and I was just curious as to why. Here was a game a recently completed, where in which my queen side castling was classed as an inaccuracy, yet I feel it would have been safer:

I would like to know what other people think, but I personally prefer to castle queen side.

Any Comments in regards to this are appreciated.

Thank you!

Some chess openings aim for castling queenside, the Sicilian for example frequently sees white going queenside, and that’s in standard theory.

It’s not frowned upon so much as it’s less common because of inconveniences like taking longer since there are more pieces to get out of the way, also usually you have to move your king since otherwise he would be somewhat exposed on the c1-h6 diagonal Etc.
