Why is the game history of bots removed?

Can chess.com restore the game history of bots? I used to be able to view bots' game history.

No. Around December last year.

At around December last year, I was able to view the full game history of bots. Months later, I was only able to view the first page of the bots' game history. Now, the game history is blank.

What use was that to you?

I can analyze a few engine games from each of Komodo16, Komodo17, Komodo18 etc. so that I can gauge the bots' strength according to the number of inaccuracies, mistakes and blunders that they make. Also, I want to estimate the strengths of the bots by seeing how well people of different rating groups fare against it.

Because the stated bot elo is inaccurate.

Bot games were only added to the archive if you manually saved them or ran a game review on them. That's the way it works on the website and in the apps, manually saving was how it worked (Android for sure and I think for iOS). It been like that for a long time.

That's going to change in the future, as I understand it.

Regarding the bot archives, where players saved them, I think that has been limited to the recent games for a while.

I mean the game history of bots, not my own game history with the bot filter turned on. In the past, I was able to see the list of games that a particular bot has played.

It's been limited to recent games only for quite a while. Not sure when that may have changed for sure if there are plans to bring it back. My guess is they won't show the full archives on bots in the future.

Why? Is it to reduce cache?
