I'm stupid, I was wondering who was I unable to find his comment on that thread...
Why was MSC157 muted??????!! MSC case #2

He's been asked over and over again not to post the answers to the daily puzzle, especially by trying to post BEFORE the daily puzzle, and he doesn't care about the request. He's been asked probably 6 times to stop doing it.

Okay people... douse those torches, stow those pitchforks and return to your homes.
MSC's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy.

And how is it possible for it to happen? Surely there is a Chess.com bug to blame, and not MSC.
Taking advantage of a bug, even after being told not to by staff means the person using the bug is to blame.

Why is his content not available? Why can't he post comments anymore? What is his crime NOW?
He won a diamond membership just one day ago in this thread by complimenting Chess.com and its glory and brilliance. How ironic - for Chess.com to mute him after that!
There better be a good explanation or a mistake involved, because this is outrageous.
Probably due to his uncontrollable urge to post the anwer to the daily puzzle, and ruin it for others.

erik, I wonder whether you can see this or not. But I can spot quite some "flaws" in your post, sorry to say that.
- i did NOT post answer before the puzzle (despite some people claiming it),
- i did NOT try to post before the puzzle,
- i do care, but it's not my job to fix bugs. Force V3 already...

When will he be unmuted?

He didn't post the answer of the daily puzzle.

There is a bug. There is a very very slight delay in between system clocks by just a few seconds. It's not a super easy thing to fix, and not something we want to spend a lot of time on given everything else we are doing.
You know what else you CAN do? Grab a candy bar when you are walking out of a store. Does that mean the store, if it doesn't lock every single item down behind glass, is responsible for the person stealing? I'm not saying he was stealing - he wasn't. But he was exploiting a good-faith system over and over after being asked not to.
In life, just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD.

When will he be unmuted?
Maybe in 30 days he can request an unmute along with a commitment to stop spoiling it.

Lol, he didn't even spoil it. And he changed the comment afterwards! Makes no sense!

Any proof?

Doesn't really matter if he spoiled it. He was asked to stop, apparently didn't, and landed himself in the current situation.
I like MSC. He had that one topic where people predicted winners and he kept score. He has that "Botvinnik style" match going and is keeping track of the standing in the other matches. I'd like to see him in the forums. Personally, I also don't think the daily puzzle thing is a big deal.
But there's nothing to talk about really. He chose this. If you wonder why this happened and have questions to ask, all questions should go to MSC. It would have been extremely easy to follow chess.com's request. He was even muted earlier so it's not as if he didn't know what was coming.

When I saw the daily puzzle, his comment was inviting people to play in his tournament. Nothing about the daily puzzle problem itself.
