will Explorer ever include all games?

I am not sure exactly what it includes, but many, even the majority of my games are not there.

Hmm. 20,557 is a lot of games but it appears to me that it is not true that most are not listed. It looks like at least 9,830 for white and 9,806 for black for a total of 19,636.

Variants are not included and also games of 3 moves or less.

Why would they not include variants?

I was for example surprised by a way ward Queen attack with e3 instead of e4. Which had an interesting twist in freedom of the queen. And the explorer just doesnt know it. Would have been interesting to see if people try this more often.

Variants are games like four player chess or bughouse that don't follow the regular rules of chess.  As a result, you can't include them in a database of standard games.

Why can we only see every played move of all the Masters, but not all of the non-masters like you can on Lichess? for example, I’m trying to analyze the Caro Kann “Short Variation” after 1.e4 c6 2.d4 d5 3.e5 Bf5 4.Nf3 e6, in Lichess DB for all rating levels, all game types,5.Bd3 has been played twice as much as 5.Be2.   (1.6M to 750k) But in all Chess.com Masters games, 5.Be2 is top move (still just 7,414) while 5.Bd3 was only played 63 times! I’d really like to be able to tell of Chess.com non-Masters games has similar percentages to Lichess or not, so that I know which lines to focus on.

In general, the moves of non-masters don't get included in databases because they are often bad or charitably. not-the-best moves.

It is thought that a couple of million games from people who know how to play chess well is more useful than a couple of billion games from people who are just learning.
