Hi chess players! You are probably looking for some Tactics. A tactic is a maneuver that seizes immediate opportunities, such as material gain. In this chat, we will post chess tactics. You can also share your chess games in this chat. A basic tactic is the Discovered  attack.  The idea is that there is a piece that moves, attacking a piece and revealing a check. You can capture the piece afterwards, winning you material. That’s all for now. Check in for more tactics!

So anyway, the next tactic is overloading. When a piece is overloaded, it has to protect multiple pieces at once. So here is an example:

Here's a position from one of my old over-the-board rated tournament games.

It features a decoying / diverting move, then another, then a fork:

And this position features an overload.

The next tactic is a fork. The most famous type is when you attack two or more pieces with just on piece. Any piece can fork. Here is a example of a early fork:

Why would I play a bongcloud?

Fools mate?

The Bongcloud mate and the Fool's mate aren't tactics.

They are just blunders.
