Won game, lost points

Hello,

I've been away for about four months. Needed to take some time off as I was burned out because I was just playing so much. So last week started playing some games by posting rated challenges and got a few takers. I'm only around a 1400 point player and I'm fine with that. Most of the opponents I played so far are right around the same as me. On player that accepted my game post was an 1150-ish player. We had a decent game which I eventually won. I lost 9 points! Now, I've played players rated lower than me before (including this low) and if I won I would only get maybe 1 point. But to lose 9 points?!? Is that something new. Needless to say, I changed my future challenges to non-rated games only. If this is how Chess.com is going now then I'll just play non-rated games.
