Lol - yeah as if three rating points means anything in online chess (just three? Even OTB chess three points means close to nothing).
On a more serious note though. I disagree that "at your level" is intrinsically an insult to a chess player; I will however, agree that it is often used in an arrogant way. Everyone wants the chess rating to stand for an unchanging status or milestone - unfortunately chess ratings constantly fluctuate. Even 100 or 200 rating points means little - especially online. "At your level" is certainly used insultingly by many, but that says more about the person than the wording; "at your level" does not always mean insulting.
For example: blueemu, "at your level" of chess, I won't perform that well - yet I am trying to improve and I hope I can soon reach that level

My rating is a joke. It's largely based on two good wins at a Glicko RD of over 200.
To be honest, they WERE good wins, though. Check my "Kids, don't try this at home" thread.
By the way, I usually say "At our level..."
