Yes, and another "problem" if you want to bet on Chesscube is that hardly anyone is seeking or offering games for stakes over 100 cubits (which is ten cents). Occasionally you'll see a 500 or 1,000 cubit seek but those are few and far between.
Would 'cubits' be a good addition to chess.com?

Hmm...
Thanks for not banning it!

Hmm... I stopped playing b/c the chesscube server kept glitching, and I would lose. IDK, a chess currency might stress you out too much, although ratings might do the same... so...

I'm pretty sure, though, that this thread is pretty negative as to this 'competitive website', so I think making this thread more public should make the chess.com community less likely to go to a competing website. I guess it doesn't matter though I guess this thread isn't really on topic anymore.

I guess you're not on topic, lol
Imo no, cubits are really annoying on chesscube. I want to just play chess and not stop being able to play because I ran out of something I don't care about.

I realize this is an old thread but just happened to see it. I agree with most of the others above that (a) the cubits and crowns system is annoying to begin with and (b) the rake percentage is ridiculous. I hope chess.com never institutes such a policy. Paying for a membership is straightforward. The content is 10 times better here anyway.
Maybe... but chess is addictive enough without the gambling element forced upon you.
