I'm better than them and I know it.
YEA WHAT!! CHESS COMMUNITY

So you say you're either troll or have a big inferiority complex? Not very flattering.
Chess, especially in the beginning, isn't about intelligence. It's about learning patterns and building basic habits (like blunder checking)... more or less like every skill I can think of off the top of my head.
Anyway, good luck.

We honestly don't care.

this is misleading. perhaps you could say this about enthusiast internet blitz and bullet. standard time control otb chess is different and is about a lot more than just blunder checking (although this would obviously be required).

Sounds to me like your most challenging opponent is yourself. Your attitude is counterproductive.

A lot of the time the computers are a lot easier than people that are on the same score. Computer on easy is useually around 1100. How often do you see a player of 1100 blunder as much as the computer on easy? I have even seen the computer on medium (useually 1300) blunder the queen on the 4th of 5th move. That doesent happen when a human is at that level. Im my opinion the computers levels are a lot higher than they should be.

Oh now you've done it old chess dog. Gasp! You've went & said the unspeakable.
LoL!

Hehe, not below a certain rating it's not... whoever drops fewer pieces wins in OTB too. Heisman seems to think many players under 1600 regularly do this (I don't disagree). The uninitiated see players hunched over the board and imagine they must be brilliant strategists... no, most players are just trying to hold onto all their pieces
And about internet blitz/bullet... you don't really have time to "blunder check" per se... yeah it happens but it's more or less automatic.
Anyway, I agree there is a lot more to a game of chess, but I think at lower levels it is (or should primarily be) continuously looking for tactics.

Sure, roll your mouse over to home, click on profile. Upper right hand corner there is a box, click on themes, and enjoy. At least I hope that's what you were asking.
