Then again, it's not just chess molesters. You will find sick people like that all over the place. School teachers, bosses even colleagues. Seen it all. Heard it all. Read it all.

No community is above this kind of nastiness. There will always be some weirdo ready to do something awful if he thinks he can get away with it.
I never trust people that work with children exclusively, they are either weird or insane.
FYI, if you read the article the accused did not commit any crimes in his capacity as a chess coach so your point about another "chess coach molester" is no more relevant than if he was a plumber.
Oh and yes I have met and played him as well as taken lessons from him.

In the Manchester Chess Federation we have a very strong youth focused team
3Cs of Oldham Lees numbering 40 strong with many masters the club provides a great place for youth chess to develop
Part of this is hoouring the trust that parents place in the club in regards to their childrens wellbeing
A strict set of guidelines are always in place and any vulnerable members are educated in combatting and reporting any abuse
Youth is vital to the continued success of chess in the future and i applaud the efforts of clubs such as 3Cs in the work they do
I hope the op has been resolved so that youth chess can flourish in the area it occured without any repetition

I doubt it's a coincidence he put himself in a position to be around young kids.

Well, I was kidding, I could tell from the context what it probably was.
Yes, "molester coach" removes any possible confusion, but it sounds a little weird to use "molester" as an adjective. I would probably write it: "Another chess coach accused/guilty of molesting."

Actually the OP was a good guy but he had a terrible accident with that Segway device. He hit a flock of animals if I recall. Was in the hospital for a couple of months. He's Ok, because he posted when he returned. Not sure what to make of that. Stay away from Segways or stay away from animals?? Definetely stay away from molesters. Unless your into that.
Then segway yourself into someone from Homeland Security! You'll get molested. I guarantee it.
I was scanning the chess news today and came across the story of David J. Harris, chess master and chess coach from Rhode Island who is accused of having sexual contact with an underage girl. Here is the story. Anyone from the New England area ever met this guy or played him? Is he on chess.com? More and more of these kinds of stories are coming to light lately and it's scary, I thought the chess community was above this kind of nastiness.
