Sure you can! The first link is this thread. Does that mean google wins?
You can't Google " Top 5 reasons to play Chess

It's not that hard to come up with no responses to a google search, although it is uncommon. Try coming up with exactly ONE response to a google search, now that's difficult! I've never been able to intentionally do so but once or twice stumbled onto this rare occurence by dumb luck (which I could've used in my chess games instead)
I just looked on google, The top 5 reasons to play chess. I was intrigued when it turned up no applicable answer. Google the Deity of Search engines failed to quantify why we play chess! Awesome, not only do we have the chance to populate that list quickly, we can do so with the obvious, such as:
1. Chess is battle like battle meditation
2. It improves critical thinking
3. it reminds me of learning to play from my dad
4. I get to teach my sons Chess
5. Chess is Chess, and nothing but Chess is Chess
My question is what are your top reasons to play chess?
