Wow! All this is harsh! Seems he asked for it, though, judging from his second post. Didn't read much of it. Couldn't. It was just so sad,
YOU people dont deserve ME.

I see Cheater1 - living in his parents house or grandmothers basement - pizza is involved! he is a delivery man! he is very overweight. prefers juice to water.
Has never kissed a girl - I put his age at between 32 and 45
He is alone - his online persona is his only way of connecting to people.
He is sad and afraid and has never lived up to his idea of what he should be --
He plays fantasy role player games
He is a dungeons and dragons expert
He might be a school bus driver or a bill collector
I have not missed him because I am here for CHESS not dealing with little babies~! Cheater you stand for nothing. You are a sad clown!!
boo hoo
i can visualize that.

Hey cheater, in all seriousness - if your situation is so bleak - have you ever thought of writing a novel? Raistlin Majere really kindled my excitement about the prospect of one day having a book on a store shelf written by me.
By all rights you shouldn't have to much trouble - you're imaginative, brooding, have lots of time (if your social situation is as bleak as you say), and you probably have some good insight into how to create a villainous character.
This Christmas, dude - make a point to sit down and hammer out the first chapter of something. Convert the crappy hand you were dealt into a plus - heck, the reason most people can't write books is because they possess no real opinions - and the ones they do have are laughably common.
I bet you'd be a NATURAL.
Assuming that all you will do is merely watch the failure of humanity on this site, I see no reason for you to post ever again; but then again that would be as boring as watching paint dry.
I cannot deny that the fora have missed you and that perhaps your re-emergence is cause for some sort of ironic celebration, so can we expect more of your word smithing or are you to be as lame as Hephaestus and sit and watch?
Plus, where do you stand on Christmas? Are you sucked in by the materialistic drive of today's society when few people know what Christmas is really about and that the date upon which we celebrate it, is incorrect? Somehow I see you as the sort of person who preys on the euphoric goodwill of Christmas spirit for your own ends.

Erik is cheater_1, it is a masterful troll job.
(rolls eyes)
See? That's exactly what he'd say if he were cheater_1 and pretending not to be.

YOU people dont deserve ME
i couldn t have put it better
lol he lived with his mom in his 30's? hahahahhahaha seriously though i am ashamed to share a species with you

I agree, he could write.

lol. your giving this guy what he wants. he posted once and everyone rsponds. just dont bother, let the topic die next time. unless you actually like being in this position

Let's imagine for a second that everything he's said in this thread is completely true - that his life really is awful - that he's someone who has been so hurt through rejection in his life that this statement is quite telling:
"I have grown accustomed to being shunned--so much so that I now ENJOY it."
I know the psycology here - it's effectively a self-sabotaging set of behaviors to ensure a self-fulfilling prophecy so as the outside world conforms to the mind's interal expectations. The mind says "People hate me" and the behavior makes it such that this fear is confirmed (it's actually a defense mechanism paradoxically protecting against rejection; reject first policy).
The mind then constructs an elaborate fantasy whereby the supposed pain is reinterpreted as pleasure (the inner fear of "I deserve this maltreatment becomes "I thrive off this"); sadomasochistically reframing the situation so as to convert the object of fear (rejection) into a self-identity (I am rejected, but I like it - it's just who I am).
Now, if all this is true, some of the comments in this thread are downright perverse from a humanistic perspective. I think it says more about some of you that you'd say things like what GarrMaster said (Garrmaster - if everything you said was true, surely he'd be deserving of pity and not derision?).
Which brings us to the metapsychology of the audience reactions. Perhaps on some level the frank and fearful portrait he's offered of himself plays upon some of our fears for ourselves - our own fears of rejection and lonliness.
If you're going to castigate him, then at least do so for cheating at chess or what have you. But when you start to make accusations about the worth of a human it actually says more about your own capabilities for darkness.
What I'm saying is this might actually be someone in a kind of mental health situation, or deep personal pain. If he's coming here to have his derision-confirmation fix, well, then, that's pretty messed up, but no one is forcing you to spew hate.
Go after his logic, sure. Play with the claims. Join in fun ways. Keep your chin up. If his life is rough then maybe you could actually help out, who knows? Chess.com might be one of the places he's actually at "home".
/Not saying you can't flame people on the net

///CaptainJoe is a jerk, for instance

It is amazing what shapes a person. The series of events that takes place in one's youth that makes you who you are today. The person you are today is a DIRECT result of the choices you made yesterday or the environment you were subject to. I grew up in a middle class family with a mother and father in a nice area of the midwest USA. However, I was dealt a crummy hand. I threw 3 cards back and took another 3 and got a WORSE hand. You know the people with the golden touch? The people that succeed at whatever they do. Luck is always on their side. NATURALS. Well, I am sitting under an umbrella right now because I got this black rain cloud hanging over my head and it's POURING--and I'm INSIDE!!!
To a certain extent you make your own luck. Seems by exchanging your 3 cards for worse ones you played the hand you were dealt poorly.
Take Rael's advice - write something, maybe in the fantasy genre. You are clearly imaginative and have too much time on your hands. Use the talents you have to their max.
If you like the big raincloud then keep going as you are, but life is so much better when you can appreciate the positive aspects of it rather than taking small pleasures from the negative side of things.
Although you might get less attention, but then you say that's not what you want.

Now that I have read Rael's posts, I am almost positive that he is correct. I know that cheater_1 will either cease to post in this thread completely, or make a post trying to back out of all the claims he made. But the truth is that he is hiding his emotions behind the character he created, while spouting them out at the same time. From my experiences, people in such an emotional condition do just that.
How's it been without me posting here lately? BORING as heck I'll bet. I've lurked about incognito and watched the quality of posts deteriorate without ME keeping you all on task. However, I'm going back underground because I have determined that you all NEED TO GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER or my appearances will amount to nothing more than cameos now and then.
Rest assured, I'll be watching.
get out of here! This site doesn't need you! (Although 40% of your posts are entertaining)
