Insulting yourself! lol
you're still here???

I'm not really insulting myself, I'm insulting the team chesscheaters.com users that are USING a program to make their moves or listening to people that are using a program (and that's about 80% of them). These are the very SAME people that condemned me for using a program to win chess games and now are THEMSELVES doing the EXACT SAME THING. They have, unbeknownst to themselves, VALIDATED my reasons for cheating. They have, in fact, AGREED with me. I'm not mad at them for using a program to make the best moves..IM MAD AT THE HYPOCRISY.
Even if I were to lose, which I may, I will have a smirk on my face knowing that I got the users of this site to sink to my level. It's one of the few talents I have in life, bringing people DOWN. Heck, I bet I could make the POPE take the Lord's name in VAIN if I were to spend a few hours with him.

I'm not really insulting myself, I'm insulting the team chesscheaters.com users that are USING a program to make their moves
Just like you. Stop insulting yourself.

NENEKO, I'll take it that your response SPEAKS for all of chesscheaters.com. If chesscheaters.com were all so high and mighty as they love to portray themselves--if they were sooooo above anything evil...if they were sooooo about learning chess as they say...then even consulting a program for one move should make them feel dirty.
Hunting is perfectly LEGAL here in the USA. You can buy a gun and go out and BLAST helpless animals and then take their carcass home and BUTCHER them into small pieces and then COOK them and EAT them. It's legal to do, but there are MANY people who refuse to do so because blasting helpless deer, birds, squirrels, ducks, goes against thier beliefs. If you TRULY are against something, YOU WILL NOT DO IT WHETHER ITS LEGAL OR NOT!. Period. End of story. Undebatable.
Here is a little skit I just made up to illustrate the HYPOCRISY of many of the users here:
players: "You cheaters are ruining it for us. How dare you use a program to make your moves. What's the point? You are scum."
cheater_1: "I'm just having fun. I like to bully the bullies. I like to put the loudmouths in their place.....blah, blah, blah"
players: "Ban him! He's using a program to make his moves. Delete his account!...blah, blah, blah."
ERIK: "everyone on Chess.com vs. cheater_1. No rules. Use whatever you want - computers, grandmasters, voodoo magic - all options are open. Good luck!"
players: "Well, let me just boot up shredder here and see what it says. Hmmmm....Rybka says I better move D5. My dual Pentium 4 running DEEP FRITZ should destroy cheater easily."
Do you all see the hypocrisy? It would be like walking into the president of PETA's house and seeing a stuffed grizzly bear, a few stuffed antelope, and a couple of ivory tusks hanging on his wall as he was gorging himself on rack of lamb.
You can be either for something or against it, you cant be against something on monday but be all for it on tuesday.
team chesscheaters.com want to:
whoop me in a game of chess at all costs, silence the loudmouth, gloat over their win, run me out of town, hurt me, humiliate me, prove that I am a liar, prove that I am weak, prove that you are better, prove your prog is better than mine, kick sand in my face, use a chess program (legal or not) to WIN..........Oddly enough, all the aforementioned reasons are PRECISELY why I took up cheating so long ago. Think about what you have become, people.
How many people would go out and murder someone if it suddenly became legal to do so? I wouldn't. Legal or not, I view that as wrong. I can only conclude that you all are not as anti cheating as you have said. That's ok, though. But I DEMAND and acknowledgement. I need a few people to come forward and PUBLICALLY admit that chess cheating IS acceptable behavior if the situation merits it.

nobody ever claimed to be against chess engines. Most people are against cheating. In a game where chess engines are allowed on both sides there is no cheating. You're just making yourself look even dumber.

in case anyone really bites on what our dear buddy cheater_1 says, here are the Vote Chess rules:
"Can I use computers or outside help in my Vote Chess game?
The default stance is that computers and outside help are NOT allowed! However, if a game is going to allow computer or outside help it will be clearly noted in the game description."
Here is the description of the game:
"One Chess.com user claims he is the best computer player ever and that he is "unmateable". He has challenged all of us that we cannot beat him. Let's take that challenge - everyone on Chess.com vs. cheater_1. No rules. Use whatever you want - computers, grandmasters, voodoo magic - all options are open. Good luck!"
There is no such thing as cheating if you are following the rules. Take Vishy Anand, for example. He has played in MANY "Advanced Chess" tournaments (open tournaments where players can use any resources). That doesn't make Anand a cheater because he certainly wouldn't cheat in a real game, unlike some unsavory folk(s) we know.

Now that i have that out of the way, i want to say a few words about cheater_1. Some people wonder why he is still allowed on Chess.com. Two reasons: #1 he has never played a game here, so he doesn't cheat here. And #2, he creates interesting conversation, some people like to be stirred up, some people like him, etc. (BTW, cheater_1 once claimed to be the biggest draw to Chess.com. I looked at the numbers and on his peak day he generated 1200 pageviews of approximately 1.3 million pageviews. ;) )
You can call him a troll, but he's much more sophisticated than a troll. He doesn't flame people, he doesn't attack others, he doesn't chime in on other topics other than those he creates (he likes to be in control of his own little world). He just comes here to push people's buttons. He might do it because he needed attention as a child. But maybe he is a darn normal person who just likes to get under people's skin. But let's get one thing clear: cheater_1 isn't here to argue rationally. He is here to bother you. That is why he debates using MURDER and PETA and inflamatory language. It's pretty standard technique.
If you haven't seen the movie "Thank You For Smoking", then I'll quickly share a little about it so you can get an insight into cheater_1. (Sorry to give people a quick peek behind the curtain, cheater_1, you're still the Wizard to many.) In this movie there is a guy who's job it is to be the spokesperson on behalf of tabacco companies. He has to make the wrong look right, the horrible look OK. The movie shows brilliantly how this is done. Here is the key quote in the movie that will help you understand how and why cheater_1 does what he does. It is a dialog between Nick (the tabacco guy), and Joey, his son.
"Joey: So, what happens when you're wrong?
Nick: Well, Joey, I'm never wrong.
Joey: But you can't always be right.
Nick: Well, if it's your job to be right, then you're never wrong.
Joey: But what if you are wrong?.
Nick: Okay, let's say that you're defending chocolate and I'm defending vanilla. Now, if l were to say to you 'Vanilla's the best flavor ice cream,' you'd say...?
Joey: 'No, chocolate is.'
Nick: Exactly. But you can't win that argument. So, I'll ask you. So you think chocolate is the end-all and be-all of ice cream, do you?
Joey: It's the best ice cream; I wouldn't order any other.
Nick: Oh. So it's all chocolate for you, is it?
Joey: Yes, chocolate is all I need.
Nick: Well, I need more than chocolate. And for that matter, I need more than vanilla. I believe that we need freedom and choice when it comes to our ice cream, and that, Joey Naylor, that is the definition of liberty.
Joey: But that's not what we're talking about.
Nick: Ah, but that's what I'm talking about.
Joey: But... you didn't prove that vanilla's the best.
Nick: I didn't have to. I proved that you're wrong and if you're wrong, I'm right.
Joey: But you still didn't convince me.
Nick: Because I'm not after you. I'm after them. (pointing elsewhere)"
It's pretty fascinating to watch this go on. cheater_1 will start a topic and people will respond and then he will be arguing something else in a way that is so amazingly frustrating to people who don't know what is going on. To be honest, I think it's kinda amusing.
cheater_1 feels that he wins every time we engage him. Every time we respond. The 5 minutes it took to write this post, cheater_1 feels that he controlled me for those 5 minutes, and that is gratifying to him. But I don't mind. I think it's entertaining and interesting to think about from a sociological point of view. :)

Thank you for smoking is a movie that I havent seen but will now ADD to my list of movies to rent. Thanks.
Had ERIK responded with threats of banning me and squashing me and flaming me, etc., THEN I would look at that as a victory and how I manipulated him. However, his post (#9) shows logic, insight and intellect, and therefore, is respectable.
My sole job now on this site is to checkmate chess.com. I have scaled back my comments (but I still make a few here and there).
My slimy tactic of flooding chess.com's votes with CRAP moves backfired, so now what I'm trying to do is ALTER the code of the vote game whereby I can slightly manipulate the pieces. Keep on your toes people, this is your only warning. That pawn on F7 may mysteriously transmogrify into a queen. FIREWALLS UP!

Cheater_1: A core of talent plus group unity is a powerful thing. More powerful it seems than your computer chip and your 0s and 1s. The difference probably is that they have a strategy and are just checking their tactics with the computer. I haven't followed much of the game but from your description it sounds like the team is doing what it takes to win :).
Erik: Seems like cheater_1 should get a free T-shirt or something for all those page hits. If he loses the vote chess game, I'm picturing the standard chess.com T-shirt, with additionally:
I'm Unmateable on the front.
In My Own Mind on the back.

The same techniques are used in the entertainment industry, shock jocks, Colbert Report, Rush Limbaugh and even some judges on primetime talent shows. The new opiate for the masses.
I think he's lying about the game, it appears to close to call. Which line has you losing cheater, I won't tell.

But my real BACKUP, the REAL RESPECT I will get will be when I checkmate chess.com. A draw will be a loss for me. I'm playing to win. I have my progs on a high contempt for draw value.
I can see it now. I will finally get the respect I deserve from chess.com. Just like after the bully gets his nose broken by the kid he was picking on and then never again picks on that kid, I too will be welcomed with open arms by this site after I checkmate them. I will be accepted into the fold. People will value my opinion and respect it. I WILL have taken the BEST team chess.com has to offer and squashed it.
You all will respect me one day.

Cheater you need to discern the difference between respect and fear, they are not the same thing. Having said that I will give the devil his due, you are a good writer with a forked tongue, and that is entertaining.

HEY petershaby, you have sensed me wiping the sweat off my forehead, congratulations. When I initially posted that I could mate the entire pool of chess.com users, I ASSumed that it would be a human vs. machine match with a couple hundred chess minds going against my progs. Little did I know that I would encounter people who (like I was in the years past) have nothing better to do than sit at the computer and let the latest version of deep fritz analyze the position for 8 hours.
I will now admit that I have a very good possibility of losing. There have been days where I have no more than 30 minutes to log onto this site, get your move, input it into my progs, let them do their thing, then make the move on this site. Boo hoo hoo, no one wants to hear that, I know.
My SUPREME manual dexterity is WASTED on this correspondence garbage. You know it's quite difficult to monitor and move between progs and keep everything in order when a 3 minute game is tic toc-ing away. Brute force isnt even a factor for a prog when playing a 3 minute chess game. Its all about the progs settings, RAM, and processor speed. NONE of those 3 things come into play when you got 24 hours to make a move.
I am regretting my decision to play this game. I feel cheated.
Imagine THAT. I'm gone for nearly a week (I said I'd be gone til Sunday night...I lied) and this site is still running strong. Huh. Well, take a look at that. A topic that I STARTED a long time ago is still breathing life on the leader board. Even my OLD topics are sought out and responded to. Even though it was trivial, it speaks VOLUMES.
I took a HIT on my "compensation" for not being here a week. Just as bloggers get PAID for what they do, trolls (I do so hate that term) are also paid for their "services". Just as computer hacking is an underground profession, blackmarket you might say, trolling is much the same. Now, I am not on the payroll of this site or even in communication with its owners, but trolls are a NECESSARY component to make websites, blogs, chat rooms, etc. interesting, and are sought out and compensated.
As for our little vote chess game, I'M IMPRESSED with team chesscheaters.com. My .47 lead has dwindled to .13. I played out the current game on all three of my programs and had 2 draws and one LOSS. I'm not very happy now. 20 minutes of analyzations produces the same results as 2 hours. That means that there is only ONE correct move for that position and no other move will work. You could let Deep Blue analyze it for a MONTH and get the same results. That means the game is EVEN, but the momentum is in your favor.
My SPIES have told me that even though there are over 550 people on board to play our game, sometimes the total votes are 1/4 that number. They have also told me that most of them are fellow cheaters using RYBKA and SHREDDER and then they FLOOD the comment board with " EVERYONE, VOTE FOR DxE5." Then all the little clones follow suit. What a disappointment. Really it is. I'll tell you why. As I said a ZILLION times before, my TALENT lies in cheating at LIVE chess, where you have to think fast on your toes. It requires GREAT dexterity when up against the clock. It is where RAM and processor power are worth their weight in GOLD. I'm a busy man. I have other commitments. I can't sit at home and set Fritz to infinite analysis for 12 hours. That is just not what I'm about. That is why many of my moves are 47 hours apart. I'm beginning to lose interest. Oh, I'll play this game to its conclusion, or until I begin losing -3 or more, or until I get BORED.... whichever comes first.
Once again, so far, I'm impressed with your play team chesscheaters.com, but I am disappointed in you. Whoever wins, it will be a hollow victory, that much is for sure. Sinking to my level. Turning off your brain and letting a program think for you. tsk tsk tsk.
