Sometimes the site says that I have a message when I don't. (Similar to when I have alerts for a game that it isn't my move in, and my opponent hasn't sent a message.) I believe it's a slight bug in the code and, eventually, disappears.

I have got exactly the same problem:

there's a message(199k) supposed to be in the inbox, but opening the inbox only reveals it is empty.

Clicking directly on the "email: 1 New" at "home" results in the following message:

Not Found

The requested URL /https:/mail.chess.com/util.php was not found on this server.

Can anyone please offer help?

I wish I could help. Some of this stuff is confusing to me too. I think Chess.com is very very very much for real and if you keep trying you will get an answer to your problem. While I can play chess and enjoy it tremendously on Chess.com I am definitly low tech on computer. Good luck. My email worked fine.

 I _ The issue occurs on FireFox

- eMail Advanced Layout does not work on FireFox but starts automatically just

- It must be changed to Basic Layout every time , The change cannot be saved

 II _ There is no problem if using Internet Explorer
