Accidently reported and banned my friend for no reason

Me and my friend were playing and i gave them a thumbs down in fair play as a joke (i had no clue it really did anything) and they got banned and when they appealed they got refused. I know they werent cheating so is there any way that I can attempt to get them unbanned?

Your report wouldn't have caused it. If the account was closed for a fair play violation then staff found evidence of that

idk how to reply in forums but is there anyway that you can show the evidence or atleast the exact fair play policy rule to the person that got banned? I could provide their user if its possible neither of us know why they could have been banned besides that report.
