Animated GIF share option not working

Is anyone else having trouble with the animated GIF option not working?  I click on the share icon, then a little timeline-bar scrolls, then nothing.  The "current image" share option is working as expected.

I've tried a couple different browsers - same result.

above is how it behaves for finished games.  I tried again with an in-progress game (48 hrs per move) and it says "generating GIF" but just sits there with the blinking cursor (extending periods).  Tried two different browsers with this too

We have been working on this for a few days now. By chance does it only not work for live games for you?

in-progress games, it says "generating gif" and looks like it's doing something in the background but it never finishes.....

Can you link me to s specific game you tried it on? I want to try to exact same game.

see how the in-progress one acts like it's generating it but never does?  Firefox & Chrome are both doing the same thing on  both win10 & win7

I noticed this also. I thought it might be a fun feature. It just blinked and disappeared.

I did finally get the one to complete... but it took ages  I am really sorry for the trouble.

No problem!  It's just a fun/easy way to share a game every once in a while.  Please update when it's good!

On my profile page there is a category called points. I have one point. How did I acquire this point? How would I get more? I assume it is a good thing to have a lot of points

Right now you get points by posting forums/blogs etc; but soon points will be a whole lot more. 

Where does the gif go when created? Does it say finished and give you an option to save it? What browser are you using?

We pretty sure its an issue with live games only at this point.
