Arrows on board working inconsistently

When creating arrows on a board, they don't work all of the time. I have the arrows enabled in my settings and I'm able to use them. But there are times when I can't create an arrow from one square to another in a certain direction. This is including when a piece is on that square, and moving in the direction of the intended arrow is a legal move.

I'm using the latest version of Google Chrome and thought maybe one of my extensions might be the problem. But even with no extensions on, sometimes I can't create an arrow on one square of the board for no apparent reason. Any ideas guys?

Ugh. I'm going to try to contact support directly then. I hope they'll be able to help.
