Automatic Disconnection from chess.com Tournament Games

I recently was in an Arena where I had a clear shot of 1st. In one of the games I got disconnect mid game and when I returned it showed that I lost due to abandonment. This got me 2nd place but what's more confusing is that earlier today the same thing happened. This is a big issue and I believe it stems from a glitch where whenever I try to join a tournament a blue bar appears and say that it's taking longer to reconnect. I have contacted chess.com staff (by reporting a bug) but I haven't received a response. Does anyone else have this issue?
