Battles

I posted this in the community forum but should have posted here:

I love the puzzle battles. But a problem with them is that you can start a match, are intent on it, solving the puzzles, and then you see both you the other player are still on zero points, and then the game stops. It’s a bit like starting a sprint race and getting halfway to find your opponent is wondering off to the sandwich stall.

My guess is that this happens because the opponent disconnected straight away. Slightly dispiriting though. It happened just now. The game was over before it began, yet the next time I tried to play I had run out of games for the day. So are these non-starter games counting towards the daily allowance?

(It happened again today, and I seemed to run out of battles again almost immediately.)

I guess this isn’t going to get answered. Was this the right place to post it?

They are counting toward the daily allowance, since chesscom can’t detect if the opponent disconnected, and they won’t give u any more.

That’s just bad luck

Thanks for the answer. Not ideal when you’re paying for it...
