Board Not Showing Up innBlues Theme

When viewing an interactive board position in the forums, the board does not show up when using the Blues theme (iOS app). I can see the pieces against a white background, and the two squares representing the previous move highlight. But otherwise, the background is pure white with nothing visible to differentiate individual squares. Why is this happening?

The Blues theme includes the overlay board type.
The overlay board sets the dark squares of the chessboard to the color of the background. The light squares are a lighter shade of the background.
Because the background of the forums is white, the Blues theme makes all the squares white when a game is posted.
