Can chess.com have a Chinese Chess- Xiangqi section ?

Xiangqi is the second most popular chess in the world, if the staff can make it available here, it would be great :)

I think that would be a mammoth undertaking with loads of additional software! Given it's popularity, are there no sites sedicated to Chinese chess already?

There are numerous places on the internet to learn and play xiangqi. This is not one of them.

Yeah, I knew there are many other chinese chess sites, but they don't have many good features including correspondence chess and mobile apps like chess.com. In addition, this site has chess960 so it's reasonable to add other popular chess variants.

By the way, it clearly depends on the developers of the site. If they find the chinese chess section can increase the number of users, they may consider to make it happen. In my country Vietnam, the number of chinese chess players is huge, but many of them are not young and may not are able to use the computer.

Whaat an amazing idea to do in this amazing website !!

I would love and really appreciate if Chess.com staff think of expanding what they offer to include more variety. I really think the number of users will drastically increase !! :D

I'd love it if they had it here too... but it would have to pay for itself in terms of the number of people willing to pay extra to get it. Frown
