Cant access the confirmation email to change my email

I recently switched to another email address and still currently using my old one, i went to the change email section and filled everything out correctly but after all those steps I still did not get the confirmation email, I checked the spam and there's nothing there. I will probably be stuck with this problem until i close this account and make another one.
